BPS Appeal To Help Locate 12-Year-Old [Located]
[Updated - He has been located "safe and well"]
Police are tonight [May 7] appealing for the public’s assistance in locating 12-year-old Dean Lottimore Jr. who was last seen in the St. John’s Road, Pembroke area around 4.00pm today wearing his Dellwood Middle School uniform.
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service is appealing for the public’s assistance in locating 12-year-old Dean Lottimore Jr.
“Dean Jr. is described as brown complexioned, 4 feet tall of slim build with a low haircut.
“He was last seen in the St. John’s Road, Pembroke area around 4pm Monday [May 7th] wearing his Dellwood Middle School uniform – navy blue pants, white shirt with a navy blue and maroon tie. He was also wearing red sneakers.
“Dean Jr. is known to travel on foot or by pedal cycle and is said to frequent the Middletown, Pembroke area as well as the St. John’s Church graveyard in Pembroke and the Dellwood Middle School property.
“There is concern for his wellbeing and anyone with any information on the whereabouts of 12 year old Dean Lottimore Jr. is encouraged to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011 at the earliest opportunity.”
Update May 8, 7.00am: Police provided a more recent photo, saying, “A second more recent photo of missing 12 year old Dean Lottimore Jr. Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011 immediately.”
Update 11.09am: The police confirmed he was found at around 10 this morning “safe and well.”
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating 12-year-old Dean Lottimore Jr. He was found in the Pembroke area around 10 this morning [May 8th] safe and well.”
